Media agency MEC (www.mecglobal.com), has appointed Rahul Karthikeyan as digital head - West. He will lead the company's digital team with the aim to expand the company's operations further in the west. Karthikeyan will also focus on strengthening the business in that area.
Vishal Chinchankar, digital leader, MEC India, says, "We have built a strong and experienced team of digital specialists over the last year, and we are happy to have found a person to drive our West zone business. Karthikeyan will specifically focus on driving greater digital innovation and continued growth for our clients with an emphasis on content driven strategies."

With over nine years of experience, Karthikeyan has knowledge of digital strategy, media planning/buying, product integrations, and campaign management. He has worked with clients such as Amazon, Flipkart, SBI, Accenture, and Procter and Gamble in the past. Prior to this, Karthikeyan was associated with Komli Media, where he was publisher development manager and handled digital strategy for Ignite Digital India.
