The Advertising Club of Cochin, along with the Pepper Creative Awards Trust, has announced the call for entries for Pepper Awards 2016. Now in its 10th edition, the Pepper Creative Awards, an annual event, recognises creative work from ad agencies in South India. The last date for submission of entries is March 22.
The competition will be open to categories such as Agency of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, Art Director of the Year, Copywriter of the Year, Special Jury Award, Campaign of the Year, Press Campaign, TV Commercial, Corporate AV, Outdoor, Radio, and Interactive - web-based, viral, film craft, POP, direct mailer, photography, packaging, logo design, unpublished works, PR, and promos. The winners will be presented with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, as well as certificates.
Commenting on the awards, Oommen Kurien, chairman, Pepper Creative Awards Trust, says, "Those chosen as part of the Jury have proven credentials in heading Juries of similar nature at national and international events such as Cannes, Goa Fest, and Ad Fest."
Says Rajeev Menon, president, Advertising Club, Cochin, "We expect more than 2,000 entries for the competition which has become a stepping stone for the creative fraternity from this part of the world to take part in other major peer-reviewed national and international competitions."
The Advertising Club Cochin, which has more than 500 members, has been organising the creative award function for the past 20 years. Besides the award function, the Club regularly organises seminars and workshops to enhance the creative abilities of advertising professionals in Cochin.
