The India Today Group has appointed Nonita Kalra as editor of its fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar India. The appointment is effective from this month.
A graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Kalra started her career as a trainee journalist with India Today. She, thereafter, held the post of editor-in-chief of ELLE India for nearly 13 years.
Speaking on her appointment, Kalra says, "Harper's Bazaar is an iconic brand and the India edition is a particularly vibrant one, given its informed voice on fashion. I am really excited to be part of such an incredible story."
Harper's Bazaar India, is a fashion magazine under the India Today Group. It began publication with the March 2009 issue, which featured Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor on its cover.
