Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India recently announced a senior-level addition to its core team with Rahul Pansare joining as the new head of marketing.
Pansare has vast experience in his respective functions, and joins FCA India after having worked extensively with global automobile corporations.
Commenting on the appointment, Kevin Flynn, president and managing director, FCA India Operations, says in a press release, "I am delighted to welcome (Rahul) Pansare to the FCA India team. He is a strong and dynamic leader in his respective functions and will help strengthen FCA's presence in India. He has come in at a crucial time as we steer the organisation into an all-new phase of development."
Pansare is a Mechanical engineer and a Management post-graduate, with 15 years of diverse experience in sales and marketing across domains such as FMCG, entertainment, and automobiles. His association with Fiat goes back to 1999 when he started his career at Fiat India as an engineer.
Prior to joining FCA, Pansare was head of communications, Volkswagen Group, sales, India, and the brand custodian for its entire range of products. He played a vital role in developing innovative campaigns and sustaining market share for the Polo and Vento brands in India.
Passionate about creating strong impactful marketing campaigns, Pansare sees JEEP as the next big brand to look out for in the Indian market, and is excited about launching and establishing the iconic brand in India.
