Eros International Media inks TV syndication deal with Zee Network

Movies that will be showcased exclusively on Zee Network include Banjo, Nil Battey Sannata, and Aligarh.

Eros International Media, a part of the Eros International Plc, has announced a television syndication deal for its new and catalogue films with the television media and entertainment company Zee Network. The films comprise catalogue films from the Eros International Media library, as well as pre-sales for a few forthcoming films.

Movies that will be showcased exclusively on Zee Network include the Riteish Deshmukh-Nargis Fakhri starrer 'Banjo' which will be released in theatres on September 23, the family drama 'Nil Battey Sannata', and the Manoj Bajpayee-Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Aligarh'.

In addition to the recent releases, the license deal will give the channel access to Eros International Media's blockbuster catalogue films such as Housefull, Heyy Babyy, Cocktail, Vicky Donor, and Omkara.

Commenting on the development, Sunil Lulla, managing director, Eros International Media, says, "This deal signifies yet another step towards cementing our long association with Zee Network. We continue to exploit our significant library, and the content licensing deal with Zee Network is consistent with our pre-sales strategy. These tailor-made packages from our broad film repertoire will suit audiences across networks and maximise the potential from the television broadcast."

Eros International Media, a global company in the Indian film entertainment industry acquires, co-produces, and distributes Indian films across all available formats such as cinema, television, and digital new media. Eros International is part of Eros International Plc. The company's movie library comprises of over 2,000 films, which include Hindi, Tamil, and other regional language films for home entertainment distribution.
