Leo Burnett's Aritra Chaudhuri joins GREY group India as senior creative director

Chaudhuri will drive the agency's creative mandate for clients based in Bengaluru.

GREY group India has appointed Aritra Chaudhuri as senior creative director for its Bengaluru office. Chaudhuri joins GREY from Leo Burnett, Delhi, where he worked as creative director and helped set up the creative team. The brands he worked on there include Olx, Snapdeal, Bacardi, and SBI Cards.

Chaudhuri, in his new role, will help drive the agency's creative mandate for its clients in Bengaluru.

Commenting on the move, Sandipan Bhattacharyya, chief creative officer, GREY group India, says, "While a lot is said about the need for experimental, medium-bending work in our industry, very few actually walk the talk. (Aritra) Chaudhuri displays that rare knack for exploring the new and finding ways to create pop culture that makes brands famous."

On joining GREY, Chaudhuri shares, "GREY is changing, in terms of its people, systems, and work culture. I look forward to the new challenges and do some intriguing work in a city that is intriguing in itself as far as business is concerned."

Chaudhuri brings with him 10 years of extensive experience across various sectors including strategic planning, advertising, integrated campaign design, trans-media storytelling, digital marketing, social media, art direction, and graphic design. Enormous, Commonwealth, McCann Worldgroup, Ogilvy&Mather, JWT, and TBWA are the other agencies he has worked with and has been creatively associated with brands such as the SBI, Zaffran, Baskin Robbins, Chevrolet, The Economist, Sony, Taco Bell, Tropicana, Mountain Dew, National Geographic, History Channel, Pedigree, and adidas.
