Liqvd Asia appoints Vijeeth Shetty as president - business and services

Liqvd Asia, a digitally-driven marketing communications agency has announced the appointment of Vijeeth Shetty as president - business and services. In his new role, he will oversee expansion of the agency's growth plans with respect to the Indian market. Shetty will be based in the agency's Mumbai office, and will report to Rashmi Putcha, co-founder and director, Liqvd Asia.

Shetty's last assignment was as head - new initiatives, at Tonic Worldwide. Prior to that, he was business director at GroupM, and deputy vice-president - digital marketing, at Angel Broking. He has also worked with companies such as Pinstorm, Directi, and Hanmer MSL (now known as MSLGROUP).

Shetty has 11 years of experience in managing clients from various sectors such as FMCG, auto, telecom, BFSI, e-commerce, fashion, and travel and tourism. Some of the brands he worked on include Mercedes Benz, Nivea, FlipKart, Britannia, Sony Network, Reliance Communications, and Viacom.

Liqvd Asia, which began operations in January 2013, has registered offices in Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Singapore. The agency currently has a team of over 100 members. Its clients include Gas Authority of India, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Celkon Mobiles, Glanbia, GMAC, Legrand, OCBC, and Sennheiser. In December 2014, Concept Communications acquired majority stake in Liqvd Asia's business.
