"The OTT delivery medium will increase engagement and ability to share any piece of video content or video asset using non-TV platforms. This will be as part of a marketing mix by micro and macro entrepreneurs and business enterprises to a targetted audience. We are going to keep it cost-effective for the marketers to explore it," says Pradeep Kuber, CEO, Clipbyte.

He adds, "We expect to derive revenue worth Rs 20-25 crore in our first year of operations. Apart from reaching out to a large field force or end consumers, such a platform can also be used for hosting, sharing, and streaming high-definition videos to release films and documentaries."

The portal which currently provides online services for media monitoring across broadcast, print, internet and social media, was in the news recently when it was looking to raise around USD2 million to fund its business needs.
