Adobe Systems India has appointed Apsara Chidambaram as agency partner lead. In her new role, she will be based out of the company's Bangalore office. Chidambaram was the erstwhile head of sales (South) for Twitter India.
Commenting on the new hire, Kulmeet Bawa, managing director, South Asia, Adobe says, "I am delighted to welcome Apsara as the new agency partner lead for Adobe India. Given her strong background in brand and digital marketing as well as extensive experience with global agencies, I am confident she will add immense value to our business focus on helping our customers and partners deliver standout digital experiences that drive business impact."
Expressing her view on her appointment, Chidambaram says, "Today, Adobe is leading the way in helping brands across the world chart out their digital transformation journeys. Agencies, being the brand custodians, are critical stakeholders of this process, and I am excited to take on my new role at Adobe which will focus on driving strategic and deeper engagements with the agency ecosystem."
Chidambaram comes on board with a background in brand and digital marketing, having spent 14 years across technology and media industries. She has worked extensively with agencies in India, Europe and the USA in building and executing key campaigns.
Chidambaram has an MBA in international marketing from the University of Massachusetts. New media is of keen interest to her and she enjoys bridging the gap between technology and data with the innovative platforms of media in a way that gives brands the edge.
