Voot announces new web series 'Untag'

Viacom18's OTT platform Voot has announced a new original series titled 'Untag" starting 4th January. The team says that he series 'delves into the lives of regular people with seemingly harmless tags' and looks at their dreams, inhibitions and struggles. It aims gives the audience a fresh and light perspective of its six characters, each dealing with their imposed tags and trying to become much more than what the world has labelled them as.

The series that follows the mantra of 'you're different, you're better than the tag you're given' has a cast featuring Meiyang Chang, VJ Andy, Dipannita Sharma, Shiv Pandit, Anjali Anand and Naveen Polishetty, and is scripted by Zaheer Shaikhand directed by Ashima Chibber.

The show is presented by Moto Z, and the brand is also deeply embedded into the show.

Elaborating on the launch of the show, Monika Shergill, head of content, Voot, says,"We are glad to announce the launch of our latest Voot Original 'UNTAG' - a story of people living with tags and how it's important to go beyond such tags that prevent you from becoming the best version of who you are.
