Social Kinnect wins digital marketing mandate for Safari Bags

In a recent announcement, Social Kinnect, a Mumbai based digital marketing agency, has won mandate for Safari Bags. The account was won post a multi-agency pitch.

The mandate includes creative 360 degree digital campaign involving all their digital assets - their social handles, website, emailers, videos as well as media planning that will be handled by Media Kinnect, Social Kinnect's specialised media planning and buying unit.

Rohan Mehta, chief executive officer, Social Kinnect, says in a press release, "We are very excited to be working with Safari Bags especially with them being one of the leaders in the luggage space. It's a great brand to work with since they want to reach out to the today's youth and expand their presence among the younger generation. Digital media is the obvious direction to move in to achieve this objective. Since this is their first foray in this space, we have a lot of work cut out for us, along with a lot of learning for both the brand and the agency. We wish to make it a successful year for the brand.

Sudhir Jatia, chairman and managing director, Safari, says in a press release, "The brand is in a very exciting phase right now. This will be the first time we will be taking our marketing efforts online and reach out to our desired target audience. The thought process and the innovative and fresh ideas that Social Kinnect brings to the table are well aligned with our brand and we are looking forwards to doing some great work with them."
