Vikatan Group's Ananda Vikatan, a Tamil language weekly magazine published from Chennai, has been in the industry for over 90 years. The group took a significant step towards delivering its content in digital, social and app platforms and has been following the freemium model since 2005. The group has been active in the events and innovations domain as well.

Vikatan Group's venture Vikatan Televistas has produced multiple daily soaps for Sun TV channel like Kolangal, Thendral, Azhagi, among others. The group has a film production venture, Vikatan Talkies which produced comedy film, 'Siva Manasula Sakthi', as it's maiden venture.
