Are viewers tired of Kyunki?

Tough question. But going by TVR figures, the fatigue factor seems to be setting in

Who would have thought that sister production Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki from Balaji Telefilms would cut short the reign of the mother of all soaps, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? But that's what TVR figures in the TAM C&S Top 100 have been announcing for the last few weeks. For week 47, that is, November 17, 2002, to November 23, 2002, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki notched up a score of 10.56 (episode telecast on November 18, 2002) followed by Kyunki with 10.27 (episode telecast on November 21, 2002) and the November 19, 2002, episode of Kahaani coming in at the third place with 10.19

Interestingly, the next nine positions in the C&S Top 100 see Kyunki, Kahaani and Kasautii Zindagii Kay doing a hop, skip and jump with three episodes of Kyunki coming in at 4, 5 and 8 (corresponding TVR figures are 9.79, 9.67 and 9.05), two episodes of Kahaani coming in at 6 and 7 (TVR of 9.48 and 9.25) and four episodes of Kasautii taking up positions 9, 10, 11 and 12 (TVR figures are 8.79, 8.36, 8.27 and 7.28 respectively).
