Skoda drives Radio City Freedom Awards fifth edition

Through a 3D projection of its illustrious history.

Q1. Talk about Skoda’s association with RCFA?

Radio City Freedom Awards is an exclusive platform that recognises and applauds independent music and talent. SKODA’s Association with RCFA was purely through innovation and creative thought. This association brings out the story of SKODA in a 3D format for its consumers which is one of its kind innovation. The RCFA 5.0 gigs in Delhi and Mumbai have given us an opportunity to reach out to the upcoming talents of our country and their individual fan bases.

Q2. RCFA is bringing a musical cultural revolution and SKODA is known for revolutionizing the automotive segment. Any comments?

Our objective is to further strengthen SKODA’s brand image in the Indian market as a preferred choice when it comes to best in class products, which offer great value. SKODA cars stand for their typical characteristics like functionality, spaciousness, state-of-the-art technical solutions, highest quality design and we are glad that these aspects make them attractive for the Indian customers. We feel well positioned with these set of values in this segment. This association with RCFA 5.0 is a perfect fit as it blends well with both our imagery.

Q3. Indie is gradually expanding its offerings on similar lines, what plans are there for SKODA to support such platforms and independent artists?

Indie as a genre is ever evolving and growing leaps and bounds. Likewise at SKODA, we believe to do something exciting and unprecedented. At the same time, it was a wonderful opportunity for us to marry design with technology and innovation which is a delight to the eyes of our customers.

Q4. Talk About your experience RCFA 5

The association with RCFA 5.0 has been a great experience for us. Radio City Freedom Awards 5.0 has evolved as the most definitive platform that recognizes and applauds independent music artists The imagery that we have ,perfectly blends with the thought and positioning of RCFA5.0. With the evolving consumer behaviour, “Innovation” is the one of the best ways to engage with them. Increase in brand salience for SKODA associating with the property by sheer quality of idea, content and extent of consumer engagement. It was a great experience for us to be associated with something unique and to support a different genre altogether through RCFA 5.0.. The storyline narrative talks about the rich history of SKODA and of Laurin & Klement’s journey from making bicycles to Automobiles as well as the significance behind the SKODA logo – The Winged Arrow.

Q5. The illustrious history of SKODA will be showcased through 3D projection, which itself is a very new form mapping - a modern method to display the journey. Any comments?

The history of SKODA is actually very appealing and interesting. The company was established in 1895 under the name Laurin & Klement. This puts SKODA amongst one of the oldest car manufacturers. It might surprise you to know that the history of ‘Simply Clever’ designs reaches back to the 1920s, to the first cars bearing the SKODA name. This 3D projection is our way of sharing the history and the legacy of brand SKODA.

Q6. SKODA has been a pioneer for over a century. What are all the proudest moments that will be showcased?

At SKODA we understand life’s little everyday challenges. It’s the clever little touches that make our cars exceptional. Discover the smart thinking inside the latest SKODA models with our SKODA Simply Clever Videos. Our Flagship brands, Superb and Octavia have been honoured with numerous awards. Customers can enhance their SKODA experience with the all-new MySKODA App as well. Loaded with great features, the app is a perfect companion to the existing and prospective customers. Yet another feather in our caps would be the Octavia vRS winning numerous awards in this year.

Q7. The 3D projection is never before done in the industry, keeping up with the way SKODA revolutionized the automotive industry. Any comments?

SKODA has always believed in trying something new and unconventional, be it in terms of innovations in the products or with the brand. In the same way we also continuously work on ensuring that the innovations we do, create a brand recall and buzz amongst our target audience when they think of automobiles, in particular.
