AAAI flags off Young Creatives Contest

The winners get to represent India at the International Young Creatives Contest to be held during the Cannes Advertising Festival, France, later this year

The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) is putting its might into aiming for the big prize at the Cannes Advertising Festival, France, this year. A team of three young creative persons will be flown to France to participate in the International Young Creatives Contest - one of the most interesting parts of the Festival. This initiative by AAAI is aimed at providing young creative talent with international exposure.

In the international contest, each team representing a country is pitted against similar teams from across the world. All the teams are given a subject (a social or a public cause) and are asked to create a campaign in two days' time.

AAAI is making sure that only the best of the young Indian creative lot get the honour of representing India. What better way to do this than hold a similar contest in India! This is the third consecutive year that AAAI will play the lead role in promoting young creative talent through this contest billed AAAI Young Creatives Contest.

The theme of the AAAI contest this year is Child Labour. Participants have been asked to create a print advertisement and a web banner on this theme. Advertisements released all over India announcing the contest, mention April 28 as the last date for receiving entries. The winning team would be the official Indian team to participate at the International Young Creatives Contest at Cannes this year. © 2003 agencyfaqs!
