AdAsia 2003: Go to Jaipur and drive back in a Toyota Qualis

More than a thousand delegates have registered for the AdAsia 2003 Congress

Registrations for AdAsia 2003, expected to be the biggest congregation of media, marketing and advertising professionals, have gone past the count of 1,000. The organisers of the event have made sure the congress doesn't become all work and no play at Jaipur this year. Each of the four days of the congress hosted at the Pink City will offer a fine mix of instruction and entertainment. Which is why the evenings at the four-day meet have a completely different line up of events. The star attraction of AdAsia 2003 is going to be the lucky draw. The draw would be made from a lot of the registration numbers of the Indian delegates. The winner gets a Toyota Qualis.

The lucky draw is just one attraction. During the inaugural dinner at heritage hotel Rambaugh Palace delegates will be welcomed with traditional music recital and dance performances by world-renowned artists. Again on the "off-day" of the event, that is, November 12, delegates will have two equally enticing options. They could either participate in the Maharaja Golf Tournament or go on a guided tour of Jaipur. On the evening of November 12, delegates will have the opportunity to entertain themselves with a variety of activates at a recreated village fair - the Mela.

November 14, the last day of the Congress, will be marked by celebrations held by Ad Asia's host for the year 2005, Singapore. There will be a fashion show by India's prominent designers, a jazz ballet and a music concert. Participants keen on getting their caricatures made need to just walk up to Tanmaya Tyagi, the famous caricaturist. © 2003 agencyfaqs!
