Dronacharya Chakraborty is new general manager for Avon India

Avon, the direct selling beauty brand has recently appointed Dronacharya Chakraborty as the new general manager, effective September 19, 2018. In his new role at AVON India, Chakraborty, who has a 20-year-rich experience in varied industries including personal care and nutrition, will drive growth and help increase penetration in a market that has a significant untapped potential.

Chakraborty joins Avon from PM International India, where he was general manager, sales, since May 2018. Prior to this, Chakraborty was with Herbalife International India for over 12 years where he held several key roles including director, Government Affairs and director, sales. While at Herbalife, he was responsible for helping the business to grow double-fold.
