Havas Media to handle media duties of Wonder Cement

Wonder Cement, which is a part of the R K Marble group, has roped in Havas Media as its media agency following a multi-agency pitch.

Speaking on the appointment, Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media Group, India and South Asia, says, "The year has started on a good note with a series of new business wins and this partnership will further add scale to our operations. Wonder Cement's plant with a capacity to produce 2.5 million tons per annum is located in Nimbahera, in the Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. The plant has been set up with technical collaboration from ThyssenKrupp and Pfeiffer Limited.

Wonder Cement plans to expand its current capacity to 10 million tons in due course by setting up a second and third production line for which land and layouts are ready.

Wonder Cement is Havas Media's third win this year. It won the Voltas India account worth Rs 50 crore in January, followed by the Gurgaon-based Aspiring Minds win. The size of the account for the employability solutions company is pegged at Rs 20 crore.
