Senior marketer Nitish Tipnis passes away

Post his stint with Nissan, Tipnis was working on his personal project, a fashion start-up in the e-commerce space.

Senior marketing professional Nitish Tipnis, passed away on Tuesday, September 4. Sources close to the family told afaqs! that Tipnis died due to a cardiac arrest following his collapse at around 9 pm at a health club. He was 53 years old with over 30 years in the industry.

Prior to his demise, Tipnis was working on his personal project, a fashion start-up in the e-commerce space.

In his last assignment, he was director - Marketing and Sales (Nissan) at Hover Automotive India. Before Hover, Tipnis was president-EZone at Future Group. He has also had stints with Reliance Retail and Videocon International. Tipnis is survived by his daughter and wife who is a fashion designer.
