The best part of my job is
It is coming to work to an all-women team that mirrors the same passion and excitement as my own when it comes to collaborating and building the natural diamond dream. We share this synergy and vision every day at the Natural Diamond Council, and it is truly the best part of my job!

My leadership mantra
My leadership mantra is simple – to lead by example. I want to have the ability to give my team the opportunity and freedom to explore whatever they want to do. Furthermore, I want to create opportunities for them to experiment where they can course-correct without any fear of making mistakes and thrive at everything they put their mind to.

My role model
As a woman, a working professional and a mother, I have realised that it genuinely takes a village to make anything happen. My role models are all the incredible women out there who provide unwavering support and empower each other to be the best mother, the best wife, the best boss, the best leader, and the best teammate that you can be.

In an alternate timeline I would have been
In an alternate timeline, I see myself doing something around travelling and writing. I would love to travel the world. I enjoy immersing myself in different cultures, exploring the authenticities and unravelling stories around them. It would be a great idea to document my experiences and what I discover about our world in the process.

Books/movies/shows I re-read and re-watch
I am a voracious reader and consumer of OTT content. I am drawn to films that are based on books. ‘The Godfather’ and the Bourne series are my all-time favourites. As far as shows are concerned, I sway towards humour with shows like ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Schitt’s Creek’. I am currently doing a rerun of ‘The Blacklist’ with my son.

A recent ad campaign I liked
I am a big fan of Nike’s global campaigns – they are impactful, empowering and driven by stories. More recently, the brand On has become another personal favourite. Their campaigns are pushing the limits of creativity and have very strong messaging that is authentic, relatable and inspiring. They do give some legacy brands a run for their money!
