Jagran New Media launches two new Amazon Alexa Skills in Hindi

Jagran New Media, the digital wing of Dainik Jagran, has launched two new Amazon Alexa Skills in Hindi - घरेलू उपचार (Gharelu Upchaar) and दैनिक जागरण हिंदी ख़बरें (Dainik Jagran Hindi Khabre). The new skills provide user solutions for common health problems and a 360-degree overview of the latest Alexa happenings across all genres of news in Hindi respectively by simply asking Alexa.

The Home Remedies Skill, घरेलू उपचार”” will help users get simple home remedies for day-to-day health problems like headache, cold, fever and many more in Hindi through simple voice commands. The skill provides not just remedies but also simple tips for a healthy lifestyle such as dry skin, weight loss, glowing skin etc. using readily available items/ingredients in the kitchen. The skill can be experienced across all Echo and Alexa-enabled devices. In case of Alexa display devices, users can even view the remedies via videos in Hindi. The skill is also available for users in English on Alexa. To enable the skills, users can simply ask, “Alexa, घरेलू उपचार खोलो” or just ask, “Alexa, Open Home Remedies” to get a response in English.

Jagran also announced the launch of “दैनिक जागरण हिंदी ख़बरें” skill that provides users with news updates across national, politics, sports, entertainment genres. Users can simply ask, “Alexa, मेरी Flash ब्रीफिंग क्या है?”Alexa, दैनिक जागरण से ख़बरें सुनाओ”

Speaking on the new skills launch on Amazon Alexa, Jagran New Media CEO Bharat Gupta said that the association will help users get credible news and factual health information at one place.
