TV9 Network announced the successful hosting of the News9 Global Summit UAE at the Taj Dubai on June 19, 2025, the summit, held under the theme ‘India-UAE: Partnership for Prosperity & Progress’, concluded with discussions on strengthening the India–UAE partnership. It brought together policymakers, business leaders, and others from both countries to explore areas for bilateral cooperation.
The Summit was inaugurated with a keynote address by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Oil and Gas, who underlined the strategic importance of energy security, economic convergence, and sustainable development in India-UAE ties.
Appreciating TV9 Network for this mega thought-fest, Puri remarked, “This Summit meeting not only reflects the strength of our bilateral ties but also our shared vision for a more interconnected, innovative and inclusive future. Platforms like the News9 Global Summit play a vital role in translating this potential into partnerships. India’s Ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sudhir, underscored the deepening collaboration between the two nations, highlighting the growing momentum across diplomatic, trade, and diaspora engagement. Adding a spiritual perspective, Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, Senior Monk of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, whose leadership led to the construction of the Swaminarayan Temple in Abu Dhabi, offered profound reflections on the timeless civilizational bond and shared values that continue to unite India and the UAE at a deeper, human level.

In a standout ‘Duologue on Stage with Barun Das’, Suniel Shetty, spoke as both actor and entrepreneur, offering sharp reflections on India’s startup boom, cinema as business, and the growing power of Brand India. His insights spanned fitness, finance, and the future of authentic success.
In another engaging ‘Duologue on Stage’, Ektaa R Kapoor reflected on her journey of reinvention, sharing bold views on creative integrity, content evolution, and embracing criticism.
Nargis Fakhri added a personal touch with her reflections on cinema, transformation, and life ahead, bringing warmth and inspiration to the dialogue.
The panel discussion 'Streaming Stars, Screaming Success' featured speakers from the OTT sector and focused on how digital storytelling is impacting culture and careers in India’s creative industries.
The summit sessions covered key topics in the India–UAE relationship, including trade under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), connectivity through the India–Middle East–Europe Corridor (IMEC), and tariff harmonisation to improve bilateral commerce.
Additional sessions focused on collaboration between start-ups, innovation ecosystems, and the impact of AI and emerging technologies, highlighting both countries’ focus on innovation and growth.
