SBICAP Securities organised a Blood Donation Camp at its offices located at Marathon Futurex (Lower Parel, East) and Voltas House (Cotton Green), Mumbai. In collaboration with the Umang Foundation, the event served as a poignant reminder of the importance of giving back to the community and addressing the urgent need for blood donations.
On this significant day, SBI Securities employees united to donate blood, contributing to the health and well- being of those in need. The event received an overwhelming response, with more than 129 units of blood collected, which will directly benefit patients requiring life-saving treatments.
"We are proud to continue our tradition of supporting the community, and this event represents another successful chapter in SBI Securities' ongoing commitment to social welfare," said Deepak Kumar Lalla, Managing Director & CEO of SBICAP Securities Ltd. "The generosity shown by our employees, not only in Mumbai but from other cities across India, is truly inspiring. Every donation made today has the potential to save a life. This event underscores the collective spirit we share, and we are grateful to everyone who participated. Together, we can make a meaningful difference."
The initiative aligned with this year’s global theme: “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives”, emphasising the critical role of voluntary and regular blood donations in maintaining a safe and sufficient blood supply for those in need. It celebrates the power of community and solidarity in saving lives through the simple act of giving blood.
SBI Securities’ commitment to community welfare extends beyond this event. The company plans to continue hosting similar blood donation drives and other social initiatives aimed at promoting health, well-being, and social equity within the communities it serves.
