AMO Communications wins SaharaOne’s ‘Filmy’ business

SaharaOne’s Hindi movie channel, ‘Filmy’, will be launched by the end of this October

AMO Communications has bagged the creative duties for SaharaOne’s Hindi movie channel, called ‘Filmy’.

Shantonu Aditya, CEO, SaharaOne, says, “Our aim is to present fresh and innovative programming, all based on Bollywood.”

He adds, “We plan to put our leadership position in the motion pictures business and our strengths in the GEC television arena to good use. The core team of ‘Filmy’ has crafted out the channel personality, programming, look and feel.”

Elvis Dias, managing director, AMO Communications, says, “While everyone would like to claim that they have great ideas to entertain the masses, I feel the reason we’ve bagged this prestigious account is that the passion of our team at AMO Communications matched that of SaharaOne’s ‘Filmy’ channel.”
