After winning a silver in PR Lions and two bronzes in Promo & Activation, Mudra's Silent Anthem film has been nominated in Film, as well. Besides, JWT's Endless Goodbye film for Airtel has also been shortlisted.
Luck continues to smile on the Silent Anthem film. After winning three lions (one silver in PR Lions and two bronze lions in Promo & Activation) till now, the film is close to its final destination -- a lion in Film, and hopefully, it should come true. The film has won a nomination in the sub category -- Corporate Image.
Mudra Communications had created a film on the occasion of India's 61st Republic Day, which was a silent rendition of India's National Anthem, interpreted through sign language. The video was played in all BIG Cinema theatres, before a film commenced.
Besides, JWT has won its first nomination this year at Cannes, with the Endless Goodbye film for Airtel
. The first TVC titled, 'Endless Goodbye', shows a couple bumping into each other repeatedly after having said their goodbyes. The film has been nominated in the sub category -- Commercial Public Services.
Till now, the Indian agencies have received 68 nominations, of which 20 have been converted into lions. Indian agencies have bagged two golds, 10 silvers and eight bronzes.
Among the Indian agencies, Lodestar UM and Out of the Box have won a gold lion each, in Media and Design, respectively. Mudra has won three silvers (two in Design and one in PR), and four bronzes (two in Promo & Activation, one each in Press and Design). BBDO India has two silvers (both in PR), and one bronze in Outdoor. McCann has one silver in Press and one bronze in Radio, while Taproot has one silver in Outdoor. Ogilvy, Maxus and TBWA India, too, have one silver each in Press, Media and Design, respectively. Besides, Grey and Sorento Healthcare have won a bronze each in Press and Outdoor, respectively.
