IAA Announces the jury for Olive Crown 2012

The members of the jury include B Ramnathkar, Bobby Pawar, Gangadharan Menon, Josy Paul, K S Chakravarthy, Raj Nair, Raj Kurup, Satbir Singh and Saumya Sen.

After announcing the second edition of The Olive Crown Awards late last week, the India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IC-IAA) has now announced the jury for the 2012/02 awards.

For the IAA Olive Crown Awards 2012/02, the managing committee has invited some of the best creative minds in the business - both from agencies and from the developmental and environmental sector. The jury includes names such as B Ramnathkar, director, Umbrella Advertising; Bobby Pawar, chief creative officer and managing partner, JWT India; Gangadharan Menon, director, Roadmap Consultancy and Marketing Services; Josy Paul, chairman and chief creative officer, BBDO India; K S Chakravarthy (Chax), national creative director, Draftfcb Ulka; Raj Nair, regional creative director, Contract Advertising; Raj Kurup, founder and creative chairman, Creativeland Asia; Satbir Singh, chief creative officer and managing partner, Euro RSCG; and Saumya Sen, founder-director, Leapfrog.

The jury will be chaired by the IAA India Chapter president, Kaushik Roy.

The judging process is slated take place on Wednesday, February 22.

The Olive Crown Awards is India's first award for excellence in communicating sustainability. Launched at the Goafest 2011, it was well received for the cause it stood for.

This year, the scaled up IAA Olive Crown is being held as a stand-alone event scheduled for March 3 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

With the entries still pouring in, IAA has decided to extend the last date for accepting entries to February 15. Along with the trophy and the cash prize, the winning entries will also be screened at the function.
