Mishra will continue to work with Saatchi & Saatchi as a consultant. He will also work as a consultant with Sorento Healthcare and Social Wavelength.
Saurabh Mishra, erstwhile chief strategy officer at Saatchi & Saatchi, has stepped into a consultant's role. Mishra has joined healthcare agency Sorento Healthcare as business strategy consultant, and will also provide consultancy service to social media agency Social Wavelength. He will continue his association with Saatchi & Saatchi as a consultant, too.
Mishra says, "While life in an ad agency is full of adventure, I felt that it was time to try something new. Getting into a consultant's role allows me to dabble with many other sectors and also helps to hone my skills in sectors such as social media. Interestingly, my new role will also help Saatchi & Saatchi as whatever I learn in areas such as social media and healthcare can be implemented in the healthcare and digital divisions at the agency."

In 1999, he moved to BPL Telecom business group, where he worked for less than a year as senior manager, brand planning.
Subsequently, he joined Ogilvy Bengaluru as planning director in 2000, before moving to McCann Erickson, Bengaluru as planning director in 2001. After a short stint of a year at McCann, he joined Ogilvy's Mumbai office in 2002 at the same position. In 2004, Mishra moved to Everest Brand Solutions as vice-president and national planning director, where he worked till 2007. In between, he had joined Reliance Capital as vice-president, branding, research and planning for five months.
