The size of the business is said be about Rs 30 crore.

Reliable sources in the industry have confirmed the news to afaqs!, on condition of anonymity.

The BM Munjal-led Hero Group's two-wheeler firm, Hero MotoCorp unveiled three new models at the Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January. These were the 100 cc bike, Passion Xpro; the 125 cc bike, Ignitor; and 110 cc scooter, Maestro. Of these, the company has launched Maestro at Rs 48,280 in March and plans to launch the remaining two bikes in the coming months.

The company, which ended its joint venture with Honda in 2011, launched its first brand campaign with an anthem on August 15, 2011. The campaign was conceptualised by the newly appointed agency, Law & Kenneth, while London-based Wolff Olins had worked on the re-branding exercise.
