Metal gets Anisha Sarin on-board as ECD

Sarin moves in from Salt Brand Solutions and was one of its founding members. At Metal, she will report to Narayan Kumar, director and creative chief.

Anisha Sarin, one of the founding members of Salt Brand Solutions, has joined Metal Communications as executive creative director at the Mumbai office. Sarin left Rediffusion in March 2011, along with Minakshi Achan and Nisha Singhania, to form Salt Brand Solutions.

Sarin says, "I am glad to have found a handful of like-minded people at Metal and I look forward to my new assignment."

She will report to Narayan Kumar, director and creative chief, Metal Communications.

Kumar says, "Sarin belongs to a small group of professionals in any field who are both nice and talented. Metal is extremely delighted to welcome her and looks forward to her creative leadership."

In her new role, Sarin will supervise and drive the agency's creative product at its Mumbai office. She will also be a part of the core team that drives business acquisition for Metal.

Sarin was judged as the eighth hottest creative in India by Campaign Brief Asia. She also has a number of awards to her credit, which include gold and silver Pencils at The One Show, New York. She has represented India at the Cannes Young Lions contest as well.

She started her career with Ambience in 1996. She stayed in Ambience for about three and a half years and then moved on to Enterprise. She also had shorter stints at Enterprise (four months) and Alok Nanda and Company (nine months).

Subsequently, she joined Grey for three and a half years. Moving on, she worked with Ulka for about three years and then shifted to Rediffusion.

She quit Rediffusion in 2011 to form Salt Brand Solutions along with a few other professionals.

Over the 16 years of her career, she has worked on clients such as Kaya Skin Clinic, Taj Hotels, Tata Motors, Himalayan Natural Mineral Water, Kingfisher Airlines, Marico and Lakme.
