McCann gets new creative directors

Vinod Lal Heera Eshwer and Melvin Jacob will function from the agency's Bengaluru office

McCann Worldgroup's Bengaluru office recently brought on board two new creative directors. While Vinod Lal Heera Eshwar brings in 13 years of experience, Melvin Jacob is armed with experience of more than 15 years.

Eshwer joins McCann after a stint in entrepreneurship as founder and director of Fertilizer Films+design for over one-and-a-half years. Earlier, he was with Meridian, the second agency of Ogilvy & Mather, as creative director in Bengaluru for five years. He was also with Goodwill Blooming, Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather. He has written and illustrated two children's books on the subject of tree plantation and rainwater harvesting.

Jacob moves in from Lowe Lintas, Malaysia, where he worked for more than a year. He has worked across agencies such as BBDO, Malaysia; Young & Rubicam, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Ogilvy & Mather, Bengaluru; David, Chennai; and TBWA, Dubai. He started his career with Chrysalis, Trivandrum (Kerala).

"The pace of Indian advertising is immense and McCann Bengaluru seems to be channelling that energy in South India," says Jacob.
