In October 2012, Saatchi & Saatchi's Delhi office had won the creative duties for HCL's tablet business. The win followed a multi-agency pitch that saw participation from other agencies such as Lowe Lintas & Partners, Meridian and M&C Saatchi.

For the record, last month, ITSA Brand Innovations was awarded the mandate to develop and deliver new, integrated messaging for HCL Technologies.

Commenting on this win, Gaurav Tikoo, head, marketing, mobility business unit, HCL, states, "Infectious has demonstrated very good understanding of our business and the consumer. We like its nimble, hands-on approach and look forward to the association."

Ramanuj Shastry, co-founder and director, Infectious, states, "It's a huge honour and responsibility to be given the creative duties of a legacy brand like HCL. We look forward to the task."

Nisha Singhania, co-founder and director, Infectious, adds that the team is thrilled to be working on the HCL Tabs business and look forward to creating exciting work for the brand.

Infectious was launched on April 1, 2013, by former Saatchi & Saatchi hands Ramanuj Shastry and Nisha Singhania. During launch, Infectious had around three clients on board, one of which is Ubqool.com, an education-centric portal promoted by Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla. The agency's work for this brand, including an identity-revamp, will be released across media, shortly. DNA is also among the other clients of the agency.
