Vandana Katoch's Clayground Communications has won the creative duties of the Focus Network channels. The incumbent agency on the account is Jaipur-based And Things Like That (ATLT).

Clayground won the account following a multi-agency pitch that took place around June-July in Delhi. The Delhi office of the agency will serve the account. Clayground will handle the B2C creative duties for Focus News and Focus Haryana while it will handle B2B creative duties for the other channels of the network - Focus North-east, Focus Orissa, Focus Bangla, and Focus High Fi.

On appointing Clayground Communications as its creative partner, Nikhil Mathur, deputy VP - marketing and event, Focus Network says, "What we liked about Clayground is that they were process-oriented, thoughtful and more convincing that the other agencies that had participated in the pitch."

Katoch expresses her delight by saying, "We are excited to have Focus Network on board. They are at a nascent stage and we will help them in their communication plan." For the record, Focus TV Group broadcasts six television channels across India - Focus News (Hindi), Focus Haryana and regional channels that broadcast in Oriya, Bangla, Assamese and an entertainment channel in the North East called Focus Hi Fi.
