He will continue to hold the position of president of Everest Brand Solutions.
Rediffusion-Y&R has announced the appointment of Dhunji Wadia as president of the agency, effective immediately. Wadia currently holds the position of president at Everest Brand Solutions (which is part of Rediffusion-Y&R), and will continue to do so in the days ahead.
In a press release announcing Wadia's elevation, DiwanArun Nanda, chairman, Rediffusion-Y&R, says, "Dhunji has strong business acumen, great entrepreneurial instincts and affinity for our clients' businesses. What makes it all work is his ability to motivate and inspire people on all sides of the business. He's an ideas guy who gets that great creative work and strategic insights are inextricably connected."

Wadia, who holds an MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai University), has over 25 years of industry experience. Brands he has worked closely on during the course of his career include Parle, Tata, Unilever, Nike, Levi Strauss, Diamond Trading Co, Kellogg, Aditya Birla Group, Sony Entertainment Television (MAX and SAB), and Kotak, among several others.
In the recent past, D Rjappa held the position of president, Rediffusion-Y&R. He came on board in 2010 and quit early last year. After Rajappa's exit, the agency appointed Sam Ahmed as vice-chairman and chief creative officer, who quit after spending eight months at the agency.
