Nakul Sharma and Tirtha Ghosh to head creative function at Havas Gurgaon
The duo joined Havas from McCann Delhi in June last year.
Nakul Sharma and Tirtha Ghosh have been elevated as creative leads of Havas Worldwide's Gurgaon office.
Recall that Sharma and Ghosh joined Havas Worldwide from McCann Delhi in June 2014. Sharma has worked at Bates, Grey and Leo Burnett before a long stint with McCann and has worked with brands like Coke, GM, Nescafe and LG, among others. Ghosh spent time at Contract and Equus before he joined McCann. His portfolio includes work on Coke, GM, Nescafe and NIIT, among other brands.
Nirmalya Sen, chief executive officer, Havas Worldwide India, commented, "Nakul and Tirtha have earned their stripes in the last nine months with the agency, not just with the quality of their work, but with their leadership; making them a great hit with our people and our clients. It was just a matter of time, therefore, before they took on the mantle of creative leadership of the office. I wish them great success in their new role."
Havas Worldwide India is also expected to make an announcement in some time on the appointment of their new chief creative officer for India.
On their elevation, Sharma says, "The mandate given to us by Nirmalya and the management is to dare to go where other agencies fear to tread. We'll be fearless and are itching to raise the bar."
Ghosh adds, "It's going to be a fun ride, full of thrills, chills and wins. We will take risks and come out on top."
