Kunal Jeswani, the recently crowned CEO of the agency, will take over the leadership of Mumbai office, while Hephzibah Pathak, global brand director, will oversee all global client relationships. Madhukar Sabnavis, vice chairman, will step in to support the national planning and thought leadership agenda.

Confirming the development, Jeswani says, "Both Navin and Kawal have had great journeys at Ogilvy. They have helped shape our company and have been an integral part of our success. They are, and always will be, part of the Ogilvy family. We celebrate and applaud them for what they have achieved, and we wish them success in everything they do."

Change is inevitable, he further adds, stating that the transition is being worked out and should be completed in a month.

"We believe in grooming leaders from within. And we believe we have the width and depth of talent across Ogilvy to be able to do it. This may take some time, but we will do it well," he says.

Shoor, who has put a decade with Ogilvy building strong planning teams, led the agency's effectiveness agenda, and provided strategic counsel to a number of clients like Cadbury, Tata Sky, ITC and Ceat, to name a few.

Talreja has been handling his current profile at Ogilvy since August 2012, before which he was managing partner at the agency since April 2010. He had a brief stint as CMO of Yes Bank for a year, before he rejoined Ogilvy for his second stint in April 2008.

In February this year, Ogilvy reorganised its senior management team. Apart from promotions, the agency also expanded its board. Jeswani was promoted to CEO, Hufrish Birdy to CFO, Shoor to national planning director and Pathak assumed a new role of global clients' director.
