Speaking about joining the 'Havas Village', Namchu says, "From the moment I met Nirmalya (Sen, CEO, Havas Worldwide India), and later Juan Rocamora (Chairman, Havas Worldwide APAC), I realised these guys were speaking my language... about being solutions-focused, being integrated in the true sense of the word, and creating work we can all be proud of."

Sen adds, "... Seen by his clients as a great ally with deep involvement in the growth of their brands, and by his colleagues as an inspiring leader, Nima is just the kind of creative leader we need. Equally adept at solutions across new and traditional media, he will play a defining role in our attempt to be the most progressive communications brand in the country. "

As reported in a previous story, Namchu has over 20 years of experience in advertising. Before joining Cheil, he worked at Contract Advertising where he spent over four years. At Contract, he worked on accounts like Domino's, NIIT, SpiceJet, Google, DelMonte, Dabur and Whirlpool. Before Contract, he was with Publicis India, where he worked on brands like Hewlett Packard, Aviva Life Insurance, Beam Brands and Future Brands. Other agencies he has worked at include McCann Erikson, Capital Advertising, Leo Burnett, TBWA and Sistas (now L&K Saatchi & Saatchi).
