DDB MudraMax’s Amita Karwal joins Vizeum as COO, North and South

Vizeum, the media agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has announced the appointment of Amita Karwal as chief operating officer (COO), North and South. In her new role, Karwal will report to Shripad Kulkarni, managing director, Vizeum. Karwal joins Vizeum from DDB MudraMax where she was executive vice-president, North and East. Prior to this, she has also worked with Zenith Optimedia, Initiative Media, Samsung, and Reckitt Benckiser in different capacities.

Speaking on the appointment, Kulkarni says, “Currently, we are on an extremely strong growth trajectory, especially in Delhi, and Karwal will bring in fresh momentum to this pace. Her experience in having led the media marketing discipline for blue chip global brands Samsung and Reckitt Benckiser will add tremendous value to our clients business.”
