CVL Srinivas named WPP India Country Manager

He takes over from Ranjan Kapur.

CVL Srinivas has been named country manager, WPP India. He will take on this new role in addition to his responsibilities as head of GroupM in India.

Srinivas will take over from Ranjan Kapur, who will continue as chairman of WPP India. In the days ahead, Kapur will focus on his schools and foundation initiatives, which have been an interest area for long.

On the ocassion, Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP, says, “'Horizontality' is our number one strategic objective and Srini’s additional role in India will be to ensure that we work together as effectively as possible to provide clients with effective and efficient solutions.”
