HPCL's Rs 60 crore business is up for grabs

In a recent development, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has floated an E-EOI (Expression of Interest) for empanelment of six advertising agencies for a period of three years. The E-EOI has been hosted on the HPCL website under E-Tenders.

Currently, the empanelled agencies include - Leo Burnett, R.K.Swamy BBDO and Everest Brand Solution among others who will also be required to participate in the empanelment process afresh. The account size of the total business is estimated to be above Rs 60 Crores per year.

The assignment will include all advertising and promotional programmes for the entire range of HPCL's products, including their petrol and diesel brands like Power, Power 99 and Turbojet as well as their wide range of lubricants where they enjoy a leadership position across a range of industries and segments, and their other businesses in LPG, Aviation etc. The Company is active across all mass media and digital platforms and regularly undertakes a range of on-ground activities aimed at various constituents.
