BARC India's Jagdeep Dighe is no more

Senior vice president, Marcom and Business Development Sales, BARC India, Jagdeep Dighe passed away yesterday in Mumbai. Dighe joined the television audience measurement body during its inception and worked closely with former CEO, Partho Dasgupta in setting it up.

Dighe, who turned 54 this November, is often credited as the mind behind BARC India's tagline - "Solving the puzzle". He had suffered a massive cardiac arrest in 2015 but he recovered and continued working with BARC India.

In the past, Dighe worked at Sony Pictures Networks India for more than 13 years. He had joined Sony from Zee TV where he was manager marketing services. Dighe has also worked with Indian Express as its brand manager for more than five years.
