Helo's #AntiDengue campaign garners 150+ million views in 12 days

Social networking and media exchange platform, Helo, just concluded its #AntiDengue campaign in India. As the Helo team reveals, the in-app campaign clocked 150 million views over 12 days since its unveiling. It was launched on October 14 in over a dozen Indian languages as part of the brand's Helo Care initiative.

Driven by sharing insights and information with users, the #AntiDengue campaign included in-app activities such as multiple choice quizzes, notifications and splash screens among others.

The activities were used to familiarise users with preventive measures against the spread of dengue. The campaign also got users on board who created self-made videos on concerns, solutions and remedies for the disease.

Speaking on the campaign, Shyamanga Barooah, head of content operations, Helo, says, “The #AntiDengue campaign is one of many Helo Care projects that Helo has undertaken for the safety and welfare of its users. We are committed to our community of 50 million monthly active users and will continue to initiate knowledge-sharing campaigns that add value to their lives.”

The campaign also saw news channels such as BBC News, NDTV Tamil and celebrities such as Riythvika and Basheer Bashi participate in the campaign with relevant content from their respective Helo accounts.

From the creators of Tik Tok, Toutiao, TopBuzz and Vigo Video, Helo is ByteDance's social media app designed specifically for India. It was launched in June of 2018 and claims to have amassed a base of 50 million MAUs (monthly active users). The app supports 14 Indian languages.
