The job portal is scouting for both digital creative and media partner
afaqs! has learnt from reliable sources in the industry that online recruiting site Monster.com (India) is scouting for a digital agency in India to handle both digital creative and media duties. The digital account is pegged to be upward of Rs 5 crore.
Earlier, the account was handled by WPP and Smile Interactive owned digital agency, Quasar.
The sources further indicate that apart from India, the portal is looking forward to rope in digital partners for Southeast Asia and West Asia markets as well. More than two digital agencies have already made their presentations to the company. However, it is still not clear if the pitch process is in its initial or final phase.
Monster.com faces competition from job portals such as Naukri.com and Timesjobs.com (owned by the Times of India Group).
In 2009, Monster.com tied up with ITC e-Choupal to launch a job website named Rozgarduniya.com. The portal is targeted towards the youth and offers jobs across various categories such as teaching, automobile, textile, publishing and maintenance.
Apart from the Internet, Monster.com also offers its recruitment services to users through the direct to home (DTH) platform. The company has a tie up with DishTV to for its job search service, MonsterJobs Active.
