Mid-Day Infomedia has promoted Niranjan Vidyasagar as head, digital business, Mid-Day. Earlier, Nirvan Biswas was in charge of the digital business of the publication. It is understood that Biswas has quit the organisation.

Earlier, Vidyasagar was head, ad sales (digital), Mid-Day and was responsible for the advertising revenues of Mid-Day.com. He will report to Manajit Ghoshal, chief executive officer and managing director, Mid-Day Infomedia.
In an official communiqué, Ghoshal says, "We have very ambitious targets for the website this year and I am extremely confident that Vidyasagar, in all his capabilities, will lead us to the set goals."
Vidyasagar says, "It has been a fulfilling and extremely rewarding experience to be a part of the Mid-Day team. With newer and bigger responsibilities, I look forward to leading and assisting the brand's digital business in implementing winning strategies."
Vidyasagar has worked with Mid-Day for more than five years. Earlier, he has also worked for Zee Telefilms.
