Under the annual contract, the agency will carry out social media marketing activities for movies made under the Warner Bros banner.
Entertainment company Warner Bros India has signed an annual agreement with the digital marketing agency, Ignitee Digital Solutions for its social media marketing activities in the country.
The agency has in the past worked on social media activities for the promotion of WB's (Warner Bros) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the Warner Bros Pictures India Facebook fan page. It has also carried out social media activities for WB's movies like Inception, Lahore and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. While these were on project basis, the agency now has a one-year contract with the group to manage all its activities on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
He adds that Warner Bros Pictures India looks forward to widening its social media activities in the upcoming year in support of its 2011 film slate.
The agency says it has planned a unique and innovative campaign, by leveraging social media strategies.
This is Ignitee's second win in January 2011. Earlier this month, it had bagged the digital duties for Lovely Professional University (LPU).
