R P Singh moves from Starcom MediaVest to join Neo@Ogilvy
Singh joins the digital and direct media agency as VP, media.
Ending a year-long stint at Starcom MediaVest in Singapore, R P Singh returns to India to join Neo@Ogilvy as vice-president, media. In his last role at Starcom, Singh worked as regional communication director.
Singh will be based in Mumbai, and will report to Kunal Jeswani, national head, Neo@Ogilvy. Before Starcom MediaVest, he worked with Maxus Interaction, the digital agency of GroupM, as business director.
Singh is armed with more than a decade's experience in the industry. He started his career in 2001, with King Infotech Software Solutions, a software development company.
Before moving to GroupM, he worked as project consultant at StudioSmile. He moved to GroupM in March 2005, around the time that Interaction was being set up.
In 2008, Singh headed to Mindshare Interaction China for a year as associate director, and handled clients such as Nike, Ford, Unilever, and Lufthansa.
At Maxus Interaction, Singh handled digital marketing for advertisers such as Nokia, Hero Honda, Seagram, and Perfetti Van Melle.
After spending more than five years at GroupM, he joined Starcom MediaVest in November, 2010.
