Post acquisition, Resultrix will function as a unit within Performics, Publicis Groupe's global performance marketing agency, under the name 'Resultrix, a Performics Company'.
The Publicis Groupe is putting its best step forward with aggressive acquisitions. This year has already seen the group buying out BBH and closer to home, digital agency Indigo Consulting and Watermelon Healthcare Communications.
Srikant Sastri, chairperson, VivaKi India, says, "India promises huge growth potential and opportunities, especially in the area of digital. This investment demonstrates our commitment to develop our networks in fast-growing and important markets and sectors."
Founded in 2008, Resultrix functions with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, Seattle and Dubai. It offers services such as search engine optimisation, search engine marketing, online media, web design, analytics, media buying, social media strategy and mobile marketing.
Resultrix's clientele includes companies such as Max Bupa, Standard Chartered Bank, Airtel, Cleartrip and DBS Bank, among others.
With the acquisition, Resultrix will operate as a unit within Performics, under the name 'Resultrix, a Performics Company'. Performics is a global performance marketing agency within the Publicis Groupe operating in 18 countries.
Resultrix's founders, Vidur Luthra, chief executive officer and Gulrez Alam, chief operating officer will continue to lead the company. Both Luthra and Alam will report into Daina Middleton, global CEO, Performics and Gareth Mulryan, managing director, Performics, Asia Pacific.
Middleton says in a press statement, "Clients are demanding best-in-class specialised skills and seamless digital integration at scale. Resultrix has an impressive track record as a leading search and interactive services agency. Its highly sophisticated suite of digital solutions perfectly complements our offering and will solidify our leadership position around the world."
"We were founded on the belief that digital advertising provides the opportunity to disrupt the traditional media business models and this is a great opportunity to join a network that is renowned for being at the forefront of the industry. It allows us to realise our ambitions and leverage our skills, strengths and experience across a larger group footprint, which is of huge benefit to our clients and teams," adds Luthra.
