The digital ad network has appointed Ratnakar Bharti as GM and sales head, India. Also, it has got on board Sandeep Sabharwal as global head, delivery and publisher relationships.
In an attempt to strengthen its leadership team, digital ad network Tyroo Media has appointed Ratnakar Bharti as general manager and India sales head. It has also hired Sandeep Sabharwal as global head, delivery and publisher relationships. Tyroo Media is owned by the Smile Vun Group.
At Tyroo, Sabharwal will focus on expanding the network of publisher partners in India and build focus markets across Southeast Asia, West Asia and North Africa (MENA). He was last associated with GroupM, where he held the role of head, digital team, North at Maxus.
Meanwhile, Bharti's last stint was with Ideacts Innovations, where he was national sales head.
The strategic restructuring of the corporate leadership team signals Tyroo's renewed focus on the region geared towards product innovation and greater adoption of performance marketing.

Bharti has more than 15 years of experience, having led and managed media planning, buying, campaign management, business development and ad sales for brands across business verticals. Before joining Ideacts Innovations, he was also associated with organisations like Rediff.com, Intercept Technologies, Business Standard and Indiabulls.com.
Sabharwal, another industry veteran, has more than 18 years of diversified experience in business functionalities that include sales, business development and marketing. He has about a decade's experience in the digital media domain, with expertise in digital media planning and buying, display, SEM, SEO, mobile/WAP marketing, ad servers and analytic tools. In the past, he has worked with Quasar Media, Cybermedia, NU-TECH and Flex Refrigeration in various roles.
