Isobar begins Chennai operations

The digital agency from Aegis Media has started its Chennai operations. It now owns four offices across the country.

Isobar, the full service digital media agency from the stable of Aegis Media, has launched its fourth office in Chennai. It will be headed by Rahul Vengalil, who also heads the Bengaluru office and the business in the South markets.

The agency has already bagged the accounts of three brands - AirAsia, Eva and Sterling Holiday. It expects to get 10 clients by the end of the first year of its operations.

Shamsuddin Jasani, managing director, Isobar India, says, "The business in Chennai is growing well as the South market is seeing an upward shift, so we opened an office in Chennai."

Isobar will compete with agencies like GroupM and Maxus in the market.

Isobar India is a full service digital agency and, now, has four offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. It is part of Aegis Media, which includes Posterscope, Hyperspace, Brandscope, Carat Fresh Integrated, PSI, iProspect and Doosra. It is present in 36 countries and has more than 3,000 employees.
