Hosted by quiz master Joy Bhattacharjya, CricIQ will have participants from across the country joining a battle to be the best. The competition spans a period of eight weeks and three rounds. CriqIQ challenges fans who know all about cricket to step out and prove their cricket IQ and battle it out for the ultimate honour.

The CricIQ format is simple and available on any internet-connected device. Round One (online round) will test entrants with 15 questions, three levels and three lifelines - with multiple attempts on an inexhaustible question bank that's all about cricket. A user's best attempt will be counted towards qualification for Round Two. The users also get recognition and can win prizes for the points they score on every single attempt they make. This way, CricIQ rewards excellence, dedication and loyalty - but the fan who combines all three is rewarded the most.

Round Two (Qualifier and Knockout): The top 50 contestants from the six weeks of online rounds will qualify to reach the video rounds. In Round Two, CricIQ will host a real time cricket knowledge competition for the fans over video hangouts. Twenty winners from these video rounds will qualify for the Knockout Rounds (also via video hangouts) at the end of Round Two.

This will be followed by the Grand Finale which will be held on-ground at a selected destination where the top four finalists from the knockout will go 'head to head' in the biggest cricket IQ battle of all.

The winner of the finale will win a grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip to London this summer to see India take on England at the historic Lord's cricket ground In July, along with other exciting prizes for the two runners up.

Ramesh Kumar, head of ESPNCricinfo and ESPN Digital Media India, states, "CricIQ reinforces ESPN's commitment to creating fantastic digital experiences for cricket fans. We have used our 20 years of heritage and knowledge and our unmatched collection of news, information and data to bring fans a truly dynamic and engaging experience. Starting on fans' digital devices and culminating in an on-ground finale we want to unite users across platforms and deliver an immersive experience. With CricIQ, we've built a property that taps into people's knowledge of the game and recognise the same. Our quest is to honour and celebrate the greatest cricket fans."
