Reliance Entertainment names Amit Khanduja as CEO, Reliance Games

Khanduja is presently serving as COO of the company, and will take over from Manish Agarwal, outgoing CEO.

Reliance Entertainment has announced the appointment of Amit Khanduja as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Reliance Games, effective June 1, 2015. He is presently serving as COO of the company, and will take over from Manish Agarwal, outgoing CEO.

Khanduja has more than 20 years of experience in mobile and digital media with specific focus on consumer marketing, product development, developer evangelism and digital monetisation. Prior to joining Reliance Group, he held executive positions at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard.

Amitabh Jhunjhunwala, group managing director, Reliance Group, says, "Amit is a proven leader, and has built a strong foundation for innovation and growth. I am confident that under his leadership, we will chart a promising new phase of success in the global mobile and digital gaming space."

Reliance Games is one of the most successful Indian game developers and publishers, with more than 200 million downloads across its titles like Real Steel, Pacific Rim, Hunger Games - Catching Fire, Panem Run, Dancing with the Stars, etc.

With an extensive slate of 10 games scheduled to launch globally, Reliance Games is well poised for continued success in global markets, especially North America and Western Europe. Reliance Games has also announced a new market expansion strategy to gain share in the burgeoning domestic market.
